2 Vintage Charles E. Frosst & Co. Dingbat posters by Dudley Ward 1933

 

 

 If your older than 40  grew up in Canada you are familiar with the Dingbats.Created by  Charles E. Frosst & Co  of Montreal their calendars and poster advertisements where a mainstay in dental and doctor offices and waiting rooms.  William Dudley Burnett Ward (AKA: Dudley Ward ,1879 -1935)was an illustrator, cartoonist and poster artist was the man behind the Dingbats. These 2 beauty's are by Ward in 1933 We don't know the age of the  posters but as far as we can tell they are probably from the 40's or 50's.Framed and come in at 19 by 15.5 inches!

    First up is "ATragedy In Dingbat Land" from 1933.The birds have lost an egg and the ever helpful dingbats are there to help.Has a bit of water damage at the bottom but other than that it is in pretty good condition
 

Next is "A Fishy Episode In Dingbat Land",also from 1933.The dingbats have landed the big one and are in a heap of trouble. Has a bit of water damage at the bottom but other than that it is in pretty good condition

    

  Highly collectable,  great  pieces of Canadian advertisement and just kool art.Dingbat art and advertising has become rare and very hard to find and it's only going to get hard to find. They will look damn good in any home or office!!

Fans of  the O.H.L. team The  London Knights will love this complete Ice bucket set .Made by Mustang Dinkware  Inc.this specialty item  is no longer in production. This is a sealed and complete  set. Included in the box: 4-16 ounce pub glasses,12 coasters,metal opener and a metal ice bucket.

This is great for the bar or man cave and a must for London Knights fans!

RARE 1940'S PEPSI BIG SHOT ADVERTISING SIGN

This is really a damn kool find. A rare Pepsi-Cola cardboard litho bus/trolley sign from the 1940's  and it's in excellent condition other than a crease .These signs go for more than $100 in rough shape and are highly prized by Pepsi collectors around the world
 

    The "Big Shot" advertising shows a young boy and girl along with the double-dot pepsi logo. The artwork for the advertising  was done by Whitney Darrow, Jr .The sign measures 11"x 28"  and has  LITHO IN U.S.A.-K-32 printed on the bottom left hand corner and C-119 in the bottom right hand corner.
        

The colors are still very sharp and this will look great framed and mounted .Iconic advertising

 

Vintage Bar Mirrors - Hennessy Cognac, Cutty Sark Scotch and WhiteHorse Scotch

 First up is a late 70's, early 80's vintage and rare Hennessy Gognac V.S.O.P. Reserve  bar mirror This is a very kool  and sharp looking  piece that will add class too any room.

 

 Next up is a Cutty Sark Scotch Whiskey bar mirror  This iconic brand of scotch as been ingrained into popular culture  and is a must for those who collect whiskey items The yellow brand logo is still eye catching and is perfect for any man cave.
 

Finally we have another iconic brand : White Horse Scotch Whiskey .This is their most famous look  and a very popular bar mirror. Hell most people know this classic logo  and it was one that seemed to be every where back in the  late 70's early 80's.
  

All 3 of the mirrors are in excellent condtion  and come in at 12 inches by 18 inches .These puppy's are ready to be hanged on any wall  and look great.They may be made in  Japan but they are kool bar mirrors  with classic and timeless brands !!

1975 Green Glass 7 UP THE UNCOLA Salt & Pepper Shakers

 The Uncola  released this fine product onto the public in 1975 cause everybody needs a set of salt and pepper  shakers. These promo babies ran out for the  end of "See the Light"  and the start of "It's 7 Up, it's Uncola" ad campaigns.Made of green glass(yeah I know you can see) and stand just under 4 inches tall.The plastic lids have not yellowed  however the shakers where made in Taiwan  and  Westinghouse,  7 Up's owners,at the time  were not happy with the product as all the glass had imperfections.As a result there is really  no mint sets of the shakers .Westinghouse bought 7 Up in 1969 and sold it in 1978 to Philip Morris.

 So if your a 7up drinker and or collector this rare set is a nifty must have. Bottom line is, this  kool 70's advertisement for an iconic brand . Hell they also will look great in  your kitchen!
