1976 Reprints of The Eskimaux (Inuit) by Captain G.F.Lyon

These are 3 reproductions taken from the  'Journal of a Second Voyage for the Discovery of a North West Passage from the Atlantic to the Pacific performed in the Years 1821-22-23', by William Edward Parry  The drawings are by Captain G.F.Lyon and the steel engraving  by Edward Francis Finden.The voyage of exploration involved the British Royal Navy ships Fury and Hecla.

   The prints are from 1976 and were made with permission of The Lords Commissioners Of The Admiralty  AND are highly sought after.They are also the actual size of the original engravings, in mint condition and are in matching frames .

      The first print is " An Eskimaux watching a seal-hole" 1822  Measures 16.25 inches by 15.25 inches

Second print is "Eskimaux children dancing, Igloolik" 1823  Measures 16.25 inches by 15.25 inches

Third print is " Interior of an Eskimaux snow-hut, Winter Island" 1822 Measures 15.25 inches by 16.25 inches

A true piece of Canadian history and of the Inuit people during the search for the North West Passage.

ROLLING STONES VOODOO LOUNGE PLASTIC KEY CHAIN VIEWERS 1994

Set of 5 Rolling Stones key chains  from the 1994 Voodoo Lounge Tour . These are an officially licensed product and are much sought after .The plastic viewer when held up  to the light shows an image of the band live.

 Hell they are still in the original bag and are in mint condition.These puppy's are 2 inches long and the view screen is almost 1 square inch.A must for Stones fans or collectors of Rolling Stones memorabilia!

Vintage 1970's Heineken Bar Sign

 This is a very kool and hard to find  70's Heineken Bar On Draught  Sign. As you can see the sign works and is in near mint condition.The sign is striking and eye catching with it's bold and crisp colors.

 This puppy measures in at 19 x 13 x4 inches. Most of the Heineken sign made are not of this size and that adds to the rarity of this one. Made by the the Van Muching &Company out of New York  who were the importers of Heineken to North America from 1946 to 1994.For a great and informative read  on Heineken and  beer-marketing check out  Philip Van Munching's 1997 book "Beer Blast"

This is really a great piece  and not just for a man cave!!

2 Vintage Charles E. Frosst & Co. Dingbat posters by Dudley Ward 1933

 

 

 If your older than 40  grew up in Canada you are familiar with the Dingbats.Created by  Charles E. Frosst & Co  of Montreal their calendars and poster advertisements where a mainstay in dental and doctor offices and waiting rooms.  William Dudley Burnett Ward (AKA: Dudley Ward ,1879 -1935)was an illustrator, cartoonist and poster artist was the man behind the Dingbats. These 2 beauty's are by Ward in 1933 We don't know the age of the  posters but as far as we can tell they are probably from the 40's or 50's.Framed and come in at 19 by 15.5 inches!

    First up is "ATragedy In Dingbat Land" from 1933.The birds have lost an egg and the ever helpful dingbats are there to help.Has a bit of water damage at the bottom but other than that it is in pretty good condition
 

Next is "A Fishy Episode In Dingbat Land",also from 1933.The dingbats have landed the big one and are in a heap of trouble. Has a bit of water damage at the bottom but other than that it is in pretty good condition

    

  Highly collectable,  great  pieces of Canadian advertisement and just kool art.Dingbat art and advertising has become rare and very hard to find and it's only going to get hard to find. They will look damn good in any home or office!!
 

Vintage Hand-Carved Wooden King Cobra Sculpture

 

 This mac daddy King Cobra statue is hand-crafted in Indonesia from suar wood. Symbolizing a holy serpent with protective powers and it's ready to attack.The statue stands in at  20 inches tall, by 10 1/2 inches wide. inches wide. 

    
       The detail on the cobra`s mouth, and the hand carved crosshatch pattern on the back of the statue are just pretty freakin' kool. Made in the 70's  and in  excellent condition this King Cobra is one outstanding piece .   
  

    It's very rare to come across one that is this size Great for  snake lovers, fans of Indonesian art or anyone who's into just plain kool .
     

2 -GEARBOX TEXACO COLLECTABLES

  

First up is the 1996 Gearbox  1920 Wayne Gas Pump Replica, Texaco Fire Chief Mechanical Coin Bank. Bank is heavy die cast metal with lever-action coin drop. Is a limited edition, model # 11001 and long out of production . In original box, in like new condition.The globe twists off the top to expose the hidden coin slot.  The locking door to remove the coins is located on the bottom of the base., and the key hidden in the nozzle.

We also have the 1999 Gearbox  1912 TEXACO OIL TANKER w/ 1920's WAYNE GAS PUMP  1/25 SCALE die cast with locking coin bank.This is also in the original box  and in brad new condition.

 These are pretty kool kollectables  and are hard to find  Ideal for any fan or collector of  Texaco!

Betty Boop "Fabulous 50's" Bobble-Head

If your a fan of Betty Boop  you will love this "Fabulous 50's" Bobble-Head, made back in 2011 by Funko.This kitty also was limited run that's no longer in production .Coming in at around 6 inches tall  and the box has never been open.So you know what that means, she's in mint condition.

   The "Fabulous 50's" Betty looks pretty kool in her poodle skirt holding a doo wop record. Since Betty Boop's arrival in the 30's she has been one of the big names when it comes  animated cartoon characters Highly collectable and very much loved.
